As 2007 comes to a close…

Looking back over this past year, BMS has expanded in its size, grown in its interests, and evolved. 2007 has been an interesting year. We have had 3 Track Days at Gainesville Raceway. We’ve attended Several Car Shows; gone to both PRI (Performance Racing Industry) as well as The Orlando Car Show; and many members have participated in many of the Drift Events at Orlando Speed World. Let us also not forgot that we had at least One wedding amongst our members!

Even though we’ve had BBQ’s, Racing Events, and Show Events, we did not put on our signature show, Cars for Charity. Today the Staff would again like to call on the membership to help us put on another Cars For Charity. 2008 Should be the year that Cars for Charity Returns, and as always completely DOMINATES the Space Coast Car Scene. Without the active participation of our members the Staff cannot run an event of this magnitude. As we all enjoy this Holiday Season with our loved ones, try and take a few minutes to take stock over what we have and what others don’t. Hopefully when we all return to our normal daily routines post-Holiday Season, we will see that zeal for Cars For Charity once again.

Finally let us also remember that one of our members, Antonio aka BMS Tony, is once again battling Cancer. As you all know Tony has had some monstrous success in the past, and we can only attribute that to his excellent attitude and insanely positive outlook on life! Tony received his latest treatment last month and is doing well. Please keep him in your thoughts!

- Brad Z! Congrats on Making TIME Magazine’s Top 10 Viral Videos of 2007 for the infamous “Can’t Tase This Video Remix” of the UF tasering Incident. Good Work!

- Big Ern! Congrats on your new Union with Krystal. We wish you all the best!

- BMS Tony! Congrats on Kicking Cancer’s Ass once again. Keep fighting Brother!
